Well, I will get straight to the point. I got this site as a gift from my brother Gunjan in December 2006, and that really was a long time ago. I had a different view of the IT world back then. I was more of a programmer and I saw this as an opportunity to learn something from this wordpress.org powered blog. In my opinion, just writing down something and posting it to the web, aka blogging was somewhat boring, if not waste of time.

As was expected I never really posted anything here and rather convinced my good friend Ritukar to do the boring job. Having been inspired by the articles of Rohit Brijnath in the sports section of The Hindu and Sportstar, this was a really good opportunity for him to follow in the footsteps of his then favorite writer. Indeed he went on to write three very good quality posts Yet another year of domination, Federer and French Open - Will the mystery be ever solved/ and Safin… So near yet so far writing on his own blog.

Fast forward to March 2006. My brother launched his own blog during this month and when I went through it, I must say it made me look silly and really stupid that I had not done something like it despite having the opportunity for a year and a half. I must mention that he is a good photographer so his blog is also a treat to the eyes. One of his photos really needs a mention here. The theme of this photo is Fire Water Earth Air. You can view it here. Anyways the point is this. His blog articles apart from those written by Ritukar were the ones which inspired me to start blogging again, or should I say begin blogging. I returned back to my site, took a lot of ideas from my brother’s and gave my site a facelift and here I am, writing my first official post.

As always I have pledged myself that this time I will definitely be regular in posting blogs and I have been getting a lot of motivation from my brother and Ritukar. Hopefully I will be able to do justice.
